Welcome back students and parents! I am so excited to get the school year started here at Royalwood Elementary as your school counselor. I was born and raised here in Houston, TX, but my parents are from El Salvador. I have 2 wonderful nieces that I spend a lot of time with and my sister who gave me such wonderful gifts. I graduated with my master’s degree from Lamar University. I love to read, listen to music and doing some online shopping. I look forward to meeting you all and working with my little lions!

I offer guidance lessons, small group, and individual counseling. I am here to help in any way that I can!

SB12 Annual Consent Form

During the 89th Texas Legislative Session, lawmakers passed Senate Bill 12, which requires schools to get annual parental consent before providing routine physical or mental health services. This includes things like first aid, short-term counseling, or social emotional support. To complete the consent form in Skyward:

  • Log into your Skyward Family Access account
  • Locate the 2025-26 Student Handbook Form
  • Indicate whether or not you consent.
