Greetings Royalwood Community,
I welcome you all to a new and exciting 2025-2026 school year! I continue feeling humbled and honored serving as the Principal of Royalwood Elementary. In total, this will be my 23rd year in education. I have played many rolls in those years, everything from para-professional to teacher, to instructional specialist to assistant principal and now to my 6th year as Principal of this wonderful school. I have learned many important things over the years, but if I can narrow it down it down to a couple, they would be the importance of building strong-lasting relationships and the importance of staying laser-focused on learning, regardless of the circumstances.
This year we are thrilled to embark on a journey of "Excellence in Global Discovery" as we transition into an International Academy. Our focus will be to foster a global perspective in our students, encouraging them to appreciate distinct cultures and languages. We have a variety of exciting programs and events planned to bring this theme to life.
I look forward for everyone to have a wonderful school year and embarking on a new Global Journey with each and every one of our students, staff and community. Thank you everyone for your continued support in making Royalwood Elementary #1. You are truly appreciated!!!

I’m so excited to join this incredible team and become a part of such a vibrant and supportive community!
I bring over 10 years of experience in education, having served in Beaumont ISD, Humble ISD, Houston ISD, and Channelview ISD. Throughout my journey, I’ve worked as a 2nd grade teacher, dyslexia specialist, and instructional coach at both the campus and district levels. These experiences have fueled my passion for high-quality instruction and the importance of building strong, meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
I’m proud to support our vision of "Excellence in Global Discovery" for the 2025–2026 school year and look forward to pouring into our students—academically, socially, and emotionally—as we help them grow and thrive.
