Greetings Royalwood Community!
I welcome you all to a new and exciting school year! I continue to feel humbled and honored to serve as the Principal of Royalwood Elementary.
In total, this will be my 24th year in education. I have served in many roles over the years—from paraprofessional to teacher, instructional specialist, assistant principal, and now entering my 7th year as Principal of this wonderful school. I have learned many important lessons along the way, but if I had to narrow them down, it would be the power of building strong, lasting relationships and the importance of staying laser-focused on learning, regardless of the circumstances.

This year, we are thrilled to embark on a new journey centered around our theme: Inspiring Global Scholars.
As we continue our evolution into an International Academy, this vision is more important than ever. Preparing our students for the future means equipping them with more than just academic knowledge—it means fostering a global perspective, encouraging curiosity about different cultures and languages, and empowering them to see themselves as impactful leaders in an interconnected world. When we inspire global scholars, we teach our children empathy, critical thinking, and the confidence to navigate and contribute to the global community.
We have a variety of exciting programs, language experiences, and cultural events planned throughout the year to bring this theme to life!

Assistant Principal
As I begin my 11th year in education, I remain passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for every student. I believe every child deserves high-quality instruction while also being supported socially and emotionally and recognized for their unique strengths and achievements—whether in academics, leadership, the arts, or beyond. I truly believe we cannot focus on one without the others.
Throughout my journey, I have had the opportunity to serve as a classroom teacher, Dyslexia Specialist, Instructional Coach, and now Assistant Principal. Each role has shaped my belief that education is about more than academic success—it is about developing the whole child.
When I look at our students, I see our future. My goal is to help provide them with opportunities to discover their strengths, build confidence, and see possibilities for themselves that they may not have known existed. It is a privilege to serve our students, families, and community, and I look forward to continuing to learn, lead, and help every child thrive.
