Principal Altamirano

Greetings Royalwood Community,

I welcome you all to the 2024-2025 school year! I continue feeling humbled and honored serving as the Principal of Royalwood Elementary, for the 5th year.   In total, this will be my 22nd year in education.  I have played many rolls in those    years, everything from para-professional to teacher, to instructional specialist to assistant principal, now to my 5th year as    Principal of this wonderful school.  In those years, I have learned many important things, but if I can narrow it down it down to a couple, they would be the importance of building strong-lasting relationships and the importance of staying laser-focused on learning, regardless of the circumstances.

I look forward for everyone having a wonderful school year. I understand we have many challenges ahead during these uncertain times. However, I see those challenges as opportunities, opportunities for growth, opportunities to stay  resilient, and opportunities to remain diligent. These are the ingredients to success, and here at Royalwood we have all those ingredients, in our students, in our staff, in our parents and in our community. Thank you everyone for your continued support in making Royalwood Elementary #1. You are truly appreciated!!!
